Dress: A comfortable and modest dress is recommended suitable for outdoor and sports activities.  If shorts are used, they should be longer and come up to the knees.

Food: Each child will bring his/her own vegetarian lunch pack, not requiring any heating.  Snacks, milk and drinks will be provided at the Camp at appropriate times.  Children will be asked to pray before taking lunch.  Parents are advised to follow the same practice at home before each meal.

Swamiji’s Bhiksha Guidelines: Bhiksha simply means ALMS. Our Scriptures state that Brahmacharins and Sannyasins seek Bhiksha from Devotees and Householders. They do not cook for themselves. Thus it becomes our Dharma to provide Bhiksha. Merely the presence of Brahmacharins and Sannyasins sanctifies our very Being. The attitude with which we provide Bhiksha is of utmost importance. While we provide food to sustain the body of the Sannyasins, we ask for the Jnana Bhiksha (ALMS of Spiritual Knowledge, Devotion, and Dispassion). Please click here for detailed SWAMIJI’s BHIKSHA GUIDELINES.

Field Trips: On some Fridays, there will be a field trip or swimming.  Parents are required to sign permission form for off-campus trips.  They are also required to signup for accompanying for one field trip.
